"That's okay." Zmerr was not fond of the idea. Whether it was because mice seemed repulsive to him or that the fox would have to slobber all over the mice to get them, he didn't really know. Either way, he was not interested. "I have some stuff stored up at home." He leaned against a tree. It was getting late. Afternoon sun filtered through the canopy of leaves, draping everything below in a cloak of dancing light. It was pleasant. It was almost worth hiding out on the island all by itself. Other things like clear running water and and colorful birds made this place all the more spectacular. It pleased him that he lived in a place so untouched by the grubby hands of humans and asurans alike. He stood up after a moment. "I should get back before it gets dark. This place isn't safe at night. Especially when you look like a delicious snack." He waved a hand from the top of his head to his knees to emphasize his small stature. "Do be careful. There are quite a few surprising things around here." With that, he turned away from the gathering of magical beings and heading home, hoping no one would follow him. The last thing he needed was a home full of uninvited guests. He barely had stock and space enough for himself.
