Sue
Simulation A deep, rumbling growl emanates from each door in front of Sue. Once again, the lights cut out, and the creak of slowly opening doors cuts through the darkness. Suddenly, Sue is forced to the ground as small, furry things climb all over her body, claw at her clothes, and begin to nibble at any accessible skin.
She was in pain. She screamed but nothing came out. Had she no powers, no one would ever have known what happened to poor Sue Cassidy. But she did have powers. She pressed next, and the pain was on Rollin’ – Limp Bizkit The loud angry lyrics reflected how she felt at the moment. The loud bass, drums and guitar blasted away the creatures on top of her. Sue looked up and felt hair floating and falling in the air, and at the same time felt more of those things coming out of the door. She ran, the strong nu-metal blasting away the creatures, just ran wherever she felt was the right way. This was when she realized a new ability: Echolocation. Echoes bounce back from walls and there was a high chance they returned to Sue. Sue’s sensitivity to noise was useful and she knew where the walls were closest, and therefore which were furthest. She ran to the furthest door. The creatures growled viciously and perpetually, but her metal was way louder. She, with all her concentration, sent a sonic blast and blew the door open, and light gleamed into the hallway. Sue didn’t have time to look behind her and just kept running. It was a straight hallway and she could hear the beasts catching up. The music encouraged her to keep on going. This was her workout music.
