No, Wolverine's facial hair defines him. But Wolverine isn't a cat, he's a weasel, so therefore, you can't relate a Lynx's 'mutton chops' to that of a Wolverine. It's like saying a Chipmunk is related to the Nine-Tail Fox simply because he has a bushy tail. D:< However, a chipmunk is clearly a rodent and a fox is a vulpine... or canine... somewhere in between that spectrum of genus or family or whatever.
