Well as for spirits it is kind of different. Definition wise they are pretty much the same. However, in writing it depends. As far as most anime goes a spirit is usually some kind of being comprised of the soul and other supernatural components. Souls are just souls. Generally they have no form, but they are the essence of what the person was. That's my opinion. It's not really even a big change, 

Also the boomerang was an idea. He doesn't need to change that. I just figured he might want something sharp. As of now his would be strong blunt weapons even with chakra enhancements.

Oh an yeah. I think the character is good, but I'm trying to just make sure he can't be too op. Cause otherwise he might as well be a jonin. Or Anbu... Point is I'm just trying to help fix it to fit the role play a little better. 

Hmmm that spirit idea could work... Possibly, if done right.
