"It's not giving up! He just isn't the problem at the moment" sasha said softly, looking back at the strange wizard. "We can deal with him later. Our focus now is protecting the book, and yes, if that involves protecting it from him, then you can fight him" she said, still holding her satchel. She sighed, and said "the weird wizard said something about a Wes here. We could check that out" she said, wanting to give Lazarus something to do.

But as Melina talked, Sasha rounded on her "what the hell would you know? You are an opportunist, and you know nothing as to who we are and what we are. Lazarus is more angelic then you can hope to be"

And she froze as the Strange wizard spoke "keep talking, and we will see just how little I am, wizard." She said softly, looking over, "I grow tired of you antics."

Noise echoed around the guild, and indeed throughout the streets of magnolia. Light flashed, and a clear warning echoed, saying "do not come any closer" and for one brief instant, the intruder might feel as if the air was lighter

Jamie returned to the library, survey what appeared to have happened in his absence. Which wasn't much. She dismissed the strange mage, for now. He didn't appear to be any particular threat, and approached the others and ignoring Melina's little digs, knowing she was just trying to ger a rise, said. "Melina, I'd appreciate a favor. If a headphone wearing mage leaves the town, could you have Nithera follow him, at least to make sure he actually gets out the town without being killed." Without waiting for an answer, Jamie proceeded to go to Damian and Masahiko.
