You misread that post, I merely asked Wilson how drop-pods would get past planetary shields when he sais his main strategy for the Dracs was to land forces and then deal with space forces.

And the planetary shields arent strong if they are alone and not combined with others. Under any forn of sustained bombardment they only last a few seconds, there pretty much there to give grouns forces some extra time to prepare.
