**"The same could be said of you, Jamie. But when my wave splashes your guild and splashes the one I care about, it will be too late to stop it. I just hope your guild is kind enough to pick up the broken person's pieces."** The wizard answered, calmly, before watching the Guild Master walk over to Masahiko and Damian and started to rant about the Council and how corrupt it was and blah blah blah. Same things they've been saying since they got here, and probably before. Looking over the other Guild members, seeming to watch their behavior with one another. --- *It was dark again, and so cold. He didn't know where he was, it was just too dark. The musky air and the smell of seawater drifted in his nose, the overpowering stink of alcohol burning his sensitive nostrils. This was a place he knew well, and brought a chilling realization to the young boy. Looking down at himself, Karn noticed his body was smaller. Only just a little child in poor rags as clothes. There was no one in the wooden house, and his nervous form started to move around, peeking around corners as he went by.* *'Daddy? Big Brother?' His softer childish voice spoke out with concern. For what, he wasn't sure. As he walked down a hall , he came upon a room with a single wooden chair with a washcloth and a wooden bucket.* *Moving closer to the set up cautiously, he peered down at the bucket, seeing his own reflection. It was then, in the reflection, he saw a massive hand creep up behind the blonde hair. Before he could quickly turn around, a sharp grip slammed against his head, shoving him down face first into his reflection. Feeling it dive into a icy cold wetness, the taste of salt that invaded his nose and mouth.* *The little boy couldn't breathe, couldn't get away, couldn't even scream... And no matter how hard he thrashed and fought, it didn't stop. Until he could struggle no more.* He wasn't sure how long it had been, minutes, hours, who knew. But the striking pain had simmered down a little at least, leaving a dull ache to the blonde hair boy. Karn slowly blinked his emerald green eyes open. Seeing the blue sky above him, and feeling the warmth that had enveloped him as he fell asleep. It was comforting, compared to the cold chill he felt just moments before. Shifting a little and stretching slightly, Karn glanced to the dragon to see if she was awake.
