**“Well, at least I’m not waking up surprised and you didn’t end up falling down this time,”** Cassie joked, nuzzling closer to Serix. **“I prefer this much better. It's much more... calm. And to be honest, being so close to you makes me feel safe.”**

“I have to say I agree with you,” Serix grinned back at her. He ran his hand down the length of her back as he held her against himself. “I would take this over a shove to the floor any day.”

Cassie rolled over to stare up at the ceiling and sighed contentedly, **“Well... time for another long day stuck in this place. If it weren’t for the robots being here and needing fixing we would probably be bored out of our minds.”** She sat up and leaned over him. **“But then again, this would probably be a lot worse if you weren’t here. I’d be going crazy right now being stuck in this place all by myself.”**

Her long, golden hair tumbled down around him, and his heart quickened. Even in the darkness, Cassie had a way of making Serix excited. He reached up and put his hands around her neck, gently pulling her down to kiss her once more. He felt like the luckiest Lunairan alive to have found such a beautiful female, and even more so that she cared so deeply for him.

He let her go after a moment and sat up as well, stretching his arms over his head and letting out a sigh. He ran a hand through his dark, unkempt hair in an attempt to straighten it some, but only succeeded in making it more tousled. He changed his mind and left it to run wild, deciding it wasn’t worth the effort, and turned instead to Cassie. “So what should we do to keep the boredom away this time?” He smiled at her through the darkness and placed his hand on top of hers. “I’m fine with anything you’d like to do.”
