Well Aura is supposed to be the manifestation of a living thing's soul, so I'd argue it's pretty organic.
As far as the interaction of Aesil and Sean's semblances go, I'd argue that neither one directly prevents the other from working. Having Aura banked in an object shouldn't stop Aesil from being able to om-nom the object, but I'd also think that the Aura itself wouldn't get nommed. Without something material to bank it in, the free floating Aura would start to disperse, but I think the rate up for debate. If he's present for the destruction of his territory, I'd think he could at least recoup enough of the Aura to top up his internal reserves.
