You don't need to know anything about it really.

The setting is different & your character could even be oblivious to the events that happened to the previous group, which included Andrew Detmer. Your character will be filled in eventually. Knowledge of that is not needed though. All you need to know is that your character is going to be granted psychic abilities [telekinesis first] from a mysterious crystal in a sink hole. ^^ lol

& your cs is accepted along with the rest of the crew. I like them all. ^^
