Jacob sighed looking at Marianne as she pulled him around, he drank quite a bit as he ate. Jacob looked at his mother shaking his head. "Marianne, I'm glad you enjoy my company but can I have my arm back?" He gently tried to remove it from her grasp patting her head.

The Exalt sighed, either they would end up married or Jacob would have to break her heart, and she doubted he had the balls for that. They chatted and talked about Jacobs work and Caroline's recent magic training. As the meal came to a end the Exalt got up calling over Jacob and Caroline, she hugged them both tightly.

Andres walked over to Marianne watching the family hug, he placed a hand on her shoulder."You realize if you want be with him, your going to have to show him you can do normal life. He's a smart boy, honest... Almost innocent if I hadn't been his teacher. You want to win his heart? Prove your human to him, you seem to scare the boy right now." He turned walking away slowly, it was time to retire for the night.
