**Name:** Sidine "Sid" Vuliana

**Age:** 15

**Year:** 1st Year

**Supernatural:** Sid is a phoenix neatly wrapped up in human form, newly reborn from the ashes of her last existence. She catches glimpses from her previous life, and they are usually there to aid her when she is in trouble. Unfortunately, they end up doing more harm than good, resulting typically in head aches and stomach aches, or fainting if the memory is too intense. 

Among her repertoire of innate abilities, she has regenerative powers that will heal a normal scratch or cut rather quickly, and has control over fire to a small extent. Lighting a candle without a match is the extent of her abilities, but hurling gigantic balls of flame... not even remotely possible. Sidine also has the powers of hovering, and usually uses them to hop down flights of stairs while no one is looking, or to stop herself from colliding with the ground should she trip - small things, but helpful in her day to day life nonetheless. Additionally, she is somewhat hot to the touch, a few degrees hotter than the average person.

The necklace around her neck was given to her by the Vuliana family, and it is used to retain her human form. Should this necklace be removed, Sid will transform into her true form, and so she is never seen without it. She tells other students that is a family heirloom.

She knows what she is, has accepted it, and continues to live knowing that one day she will die to be reborn again. A never-ending cycle.

**Personality:** Sid is chipper, sassy, comical, and looks for the fun in things before anything else. She will easily walk up to chat with people, though some of what she says sounds outlandish or strange due to her limited interaction outside of her home. She can be overly trusting and assuming as well, considering people she's only spoken to on handful of times as her friends.

She is insatiably curious about _everything_, and will devour any information given to her, and this includes her academics. You can usually find her in the Library reading everything she can put her claws on. She's near the top of her class, if not _the top_, because of her obsessive studying. Rumors and gossip also play a big part for her, and she will follow their trails wherever they should lead - she is insanely intrusive in this degree, and doesn't understand why it's bad. 

Sid seems lady-like, but she doesn't mind getting her hands dirty if it means fun in the end. Seeing her run amok in the gardens or near the lake in her school clothing happens frequently, but is shocking none the less from the glitzy-seeming intellectual first year. 

In some respects, Sid is very bird-like in her habits, and will tend to hoard a particular sort of object on her person or in her room. These vary from month to month, or day to day, but are usually shiny or sweet. Or both. As an example, she keeps a trove of stolen pennies, nickels, tinfoil, rocks, and an assortment of small bits of jewelry and beads in her dorm room underneath her bed. On her person, she keeps nuts or candies that she will pop into her mouth on a frequent basis, usually also pilfered. It's not that she doesn't have the money to pay for it, but that swiping small things is just in her nature. And true to her bird nature, she is exceptional at singing, but tends to keep it to herself. She doesn't think it's _that_ fun, but she hasn't had many opportunities to let her talents shine. 

Combined with her odd demeanor is her need to be touchy with other people, usually in a light way. A touch on the shoulder, a quick hug, a peck on the cheek. It doesn't bother her with gender either, and males are just as likely to get these gestures as females. 

**Bio:** Sid was reborn from the ashes of her last existence fifteen years ago and into the care of the Vuliana family, who are wealthy humans that serve as the guardians of the phoenix lineage that Sid is part of. Despite being extremely strict, these humans have tried their best, and have somewhat achieved, at making this phoenix into a regular-seeming young lady, but there is always something off about her. When she attended a public elementary school, accidents abounded because of her being unable to completely control her true self, and they were forced to homeschool her for the turbulent years of her childhood. Sid could prove to be too much at times, and so when she reached the age of enrollment, the Vuliana family decided to unload her at Northwood Academy of Excellence, hoping that the prestigious school could reign her in. 

**How you came to the school:** She was enrolled by the family taking care of her, and they pay for her to attend. After spending so long pent up in the Vuliana Manor, this phoenix hatchling is ready to break out into the world in a blaze as a first year at Northwood.
