The past six or so months I was lucky if there was a single thread in spam to reply to. Now logging on consistently gives me 2-4 to reply to. Definitely not a number to brag about, definitely low enough that spam could die any moment if things go ugly. But it's over a 100% improvement from a long while. Though in all honesty we got this boost in activity even when the site itself is still very bare bones. If Mahz keeps at it and continues to update and improve the site I only see it encouraging people to post more, and for more new people to join. If Mahz suddenly stops though? Or the spam community basically decides to bail and/or treat new comers (or anyone since our numbers are so small) with hostility it's going to be the end of spam. In other words, I think if we follow our current track then spam will recover and be fine. But if either the updates stop or the community mentality changes then we might as well kiss spam goodbye.
