Why do I think that you seem to simply hate Shin because he exists. He is trying to stop things from going further in his own way. He's not the type to just say 'hey calm down' and deal with it...... so yeah..... I just get that feeling. And he's not on a high horse at all, he's merely stating both suggestions and for hazel to calm down. He's not shoving an ego in her face, it's just how he works as a person >.>
