The point is I risk losing a PC as Roan's mind will turn into something like Mr. Scales that Ellri introduced, making saving him a mistake. The animal isn't evil but has no guilt about killing a "strange" animal (which it what he sees humans as mostly) to survive. The only humans he would have problems eating is those he's developed a pack/mate relationship type mind set to. Sadly he's not yet established that with anyone.

I was hoping to at least fall back to option two. Even if Marky doesn't ask for help, I can't see all Othean people being cold or not bothering to at least mention where the clinic is. It's obvious Roan's bleeding with the knife in his back so for all they know the two encountered muggers or bandits in the alley. Either way I'm stuck and really haven't got much of choice in this from the sounds of it. Less we can come up with a situation that works, I'm going to be out of a PC rather quickly either by death or mental deterioration. 

Sadly I don't think Angie's in the area anymore. Else she could at least enlighten Markul about Roan's mindset and even tell him why Roan's so aggressive, possibly be able to calm him. Right now even a horse, rat (20 or more)or something large will be helpful as like any wild animal, he'll go for easier prey. Hopefully we can figure something out.
