Cal dodged most of the shots easily, although one shot grazed her shoulder, and she winced. She ignored it, trying to look stronger than she really was. 

"Hey man! I just want to talk! Villain to villain! You must have something you're fighting for, or you're just plain crazy! Either way it doesn't matter!" she yelled down at him.
