Mia was bounding through the trees at high speed, when she blinked. The entire treeline had just shifted in an instant. In front of her was not new jungle, but rather the same jungle she'd just run through. Looking up, she could see that the same dome had been stretched, reaching far further than it had at first. No new jungle had been created, it wasn't that the room was growing, it was just been stretched, old jungle duplicating to fill in the extra space. It was a rather strange feeling, and for a moment, Mia felt disoriented. However, the very clear sense of fear brought her back on track. That's why she was here. Even if the forest was bigger, that would just delay her. She could tell it wasn't an illusion - the fear really was further away - but it wouldn't take her that long. At this speed, she could reach the door in around ten minutes, just on time for tea. As she continued, a new scent entered her nose. And there were no new scents. No, the jungle simply repeated, again and again, the same animals and the same trees, in the exact same places. However, she could already tell that it was a person, a human being. She could hear a heartbeat, the slow thumping of determination, and yet not a hint of fear. Frowning, Mia turned, the expression on her face nothing if not sheepish. It wasn't long before Iris found her, her course of movement must have been so predictable. 'You're not scared at all, are you? Why aren't you scared? I'm scary, I promise....' Her good mood ruined, Mia walked up to Iris, sighing deeply. This wasn't going to be any fun at all. There was just something about Iris that felt.... boring. Like a piece of cardboard on a plain cracker. Killing her would serve only as a tasteless snack, purely for nutrition.
