There is a school on an island, called Nullibi, near Japan where people of all ethnicities go. It is a shabby school and many people wonder why so many kids go there, but the truth is that the school is a portal to Agartha Academy, a school for the creatures of the world to learn how to control their powers, utilize their powers, and live in the normal world. And outside of Agartha Academy, is the City of Agartha. 
The City of Agartha, or Agartha for those too indolent, is at the center of the earth with lava surrounding it on all sides. It is home for the monsters and is where such monsters can get their magical items, or live amongst their brethren, though most prefer the upward world due to the fact that the City of Agartha has never, and will never, see the sun.
