What I meant by that is that Serenity, as a basic character, is pre-approved. Some aspects of her backstory, like her magical powers and magitech, need, well, modification.

Basically, Serenity can only use the spells listed on the 'Released Spell' list, and her father would only be involved with normal tech, not Magitech, although she can still have Mechs.
