Kijani nodded a bit. "I understand. I got that a lot, when I was growing up at my parents' house. They were both famous, masters in their respective fields. Half the time, when I got dragged to things with them, the people I spoke to didn't even know they had a daughter." There was an icy bitterness in her voice, but beneath that she was clearly hurt. 

"You, though... you'll make your own name. One day, you'll be one of the greats, and when people say your name, they'll be talking about what you've accomplished, what you've made, and how you've made the world better. Your father will be on the back page of your story, not the whole story."
