Nono, Restaurant District, Yggdrasil Coming down, Nono registered momentary surprise as the woman managed to block her kick, which had somehow not shattered the katana under the force of the blow. But it was washed away as success registered, her opponent sent flying, to slam into a wall and dent the metal itself while bowling over some of her comrades in the process. Yet even more to the android's confusion, the woman proceeded to get back up, acting like it was nothing. What was she made out of? She straightened up, standing defiantly as she had before. "If I did you wouldn't survive," she replied with absolute certainty. "I was made to fight foes a lot bigger than you." True, space monsters tended to be like that. If she cut loose, the end result would probably be destruction via black hole, or vaporization via Buster Beam. She didn't know what the other woman could do, but even if her sword could deflect lasers, it couldn't match the sheer output Nono could give if she really tried. At the same time, she acknowledged the strange man's request and dismissed it, focused more on the fight at hand as she shifted into a combat stance to mirror the woman. If the sword broke, then so be it. But given that it had taken an Inazuma Kick, that wasn't likely. She drew on the experience she had from watching the spars in the Fraternity. Time to do this. With a cry on her part, she ran in, fists and legs swinging, attempting to dodge the sword while unleashing blows at the Katana Lady, to defeat her and protect everyone. She would do this. --- Cinder Fall, Research Facility Cinder wasn't entirely surprised that the girl was able to dodge her first attack, given that there was some warning before it happened, but she was surprised by the skill shown in deflecting her Dust crystals and dodging the assembly of attacks directed at her. She might not be Rose, but she would be a challenge nonetheless, or so it seemed. Very well then, it'd been a while since she had had a good challenge. The Half-Witch reacted quickly though, the Dust Crystals impacting against the wall and shattering in the process, and the shot, perfectly aimed as it was, was blocked by the palm of her hand. Only the one aimed at her though, since she couldn't block the one aimed at Charlotte either, and the Witch could handle it. "Interesting," she noted. Her eyes flared orange once more as her entire dress seemed to light up with lines of red, and two swords manifested in her hands, black as coal and sharp two. Holding them, she sped forward in a flash, striking at the girl with her blades, to test how good she really was at fighting. It wasn't as if Cinder was a slouch either. And if she could dodge her ranged strikes, then she'd have to get personal. --- Misaka-10032, Client World 12262009-A (aka Macross Frontier) This world was peaceful, happy, a blue and purple tinted sky, green grass, the signs of life abounding. Humanity had settled here, and had begun to flow, a large, heavily damaged humanoid shaped ship sitting in a nearby bay, from around which a city had sprung up. THis, this was the world the Frontier Colonization Fleet had found after their war against the Vajra, and it was here they had settled, making new lives, and recovering from the scars of that conflict, attempting to heal from what had occurred. Through it a girl walked. She was a tad strange, wearing what seemed to be a school uniform with a skirt, yet not of a kind any would recognize. Also present were the goggles she wore on her forehead, not currently employing them, and the large bag she carried with little effort, the contents of which were mysterious. Her name was Misaka Mikoto, or if you wanted to be technical, Misaka-10032, the 10032nd clone of Misaka Mikoto. She hadn't expected to wind up here, but had arrived anyway, and was now sightseeing, while sharing what information she had with the rest of her Sisters over the Misaka Network. This place certainly seemed involved with music, specifically two people known as 'Ranka Lee' and 'Sheryl Nome'. And there were giants, apparently known as 'Zentraedi', which she hadn't expected either. Now though, there was so much food, and other stuff, and it made her stomach rumble. But she had no cash, and so she was forced to proceed through the market at a slow pace, window shopping and recording, but unable to buy anything. It was a sad day for a Sister.
