Dango took off his striped helmet and sat while he and the others waited for their classmates to come, resting his arms and head on top of it. He didn't get why those people were so enthusiastic about their entrance, though his was probably just as... interesting. As the Jonin rattled off their team's members, he heard Ranko's excited voice behind him. Ah, so she's on my team? Dango thought as he turned to look at her and Nagato. Her energy actually started to fire him up a bit, so when she asked, "We'll all give it our all, right guys?", Dango tried to respond. "I'll do my b-besht, Ra-... Rahk-..." he said, starting energetically, but becoming quieter and slowing down as he tried to pronounce her name. After several more tries, he sat down dejectedly and with his frustration building slightly in his voice, said "I c-can't... Bwuh... I-I can't p-pronounsh your-r name...!" Pausing to taking a deep breath, Dango was about to try his luck with Nagato's name, when Jenin gathered the group to go train. Quickly putting his helmet back on, Dango followed, surprisingly without tripping. Upon reaching the training grounds, he listened to the instructions, which he didn't really understand. So it's a team exercise, but he's judging us separately? Dango thought, as he pulled a stake from one of his pockets. Won't people be selfish if you do it like that? Despite his confusion, he understood the general goal: get a bell to win. Tying his stake to a reel of wire, Dango ran off into the forest, the reel attached to his hip. And, naturally, he immediately disabled two traps by tripping onto them.
