I can say that upgrades can be given at some point. It will make sense for the characters to find out disadvantages and fix things. Characters and Gunpla are developed here basically. For Peter he will find the best use of his gold paint and look at removing the speed disadvantage of his heavy MA-mode.

I thought I mentioned it's high school. The tournament is Under-19 also.

After we get the team and a coach together I'll have a friendly match arranged. The friendly match can be a wakeup-call for needed improvements. Speaking of the team, everyone's foreign to California even will the coach. The fighting style of each member will be so different that they will look to work as a team.
