Jack would have tried to catch it, almost succeeding, but failing at the last moment. Unfortunately his powers hadn't kicked in yet, and he felt helpless as it hit the ground. "Umm... Can you take pieces of a shadow? Or just the whole thing without the death part?" He would ask softly. He wasn't sure what he could do...
