OG Fairy Tail is 175 episodes, stopping with Natsu being a badass. Fairy Tail 2014 picks up where that left off. The show has a new production company and consequently a new style and new directing. The style itself isn't so bad (though I prefer the original)... but the directing choices are kinda bad. Fairy Tail used to be unique in my eyes but the 2014 anime was first going by a strict "one episode = one chapter from the manga" deal which made the episodes feel very stretched out with little being accomplished, as compared to the original Fairy Tail not doing that. And NOW the 2014 series is in a filler arc so I just stopped watching.
