Darius looked at the robed man as he denied being a Psychomancer and insisted that he was a Demonmancer. Whatever kind of magic the man had, he was a mage, and made him a priority target. Ssarak seemed certain that the man was a Psychomancer, and the dragon man had no reason to lie, so Darius believed him. The remaining guardsmen attacked as soon as the mage stopped speaking. Darius was ready. As soon as he saw movement from the guards he started running for the robed man. As he dodged the knife that was thrown at him, he heard something screech from his right side. He chanced a look and saw that a demon had appeared from out of nowhere and it was heading for him. He stopped his charge and rolled out of the way of the creature's attack. He gritted his teeth in anger as he watched the demon and the guardsman. These two were preventing him from getting to the mage. Focusing his anger, he created a ball of air in his hand. He waited for the demon to attack before he threw the condensed ball of air into the ground in front of the guard. The ball of air blew up and sent dirt and debris into the air. The moment the ball detonated, Darius dodged the demon's attack and ran at the guard he potentially temporarily blinded and thew a vicious punch at the man.
