Even though Ganondorf put his faith in his loyal guard, he feared Yilla alone would not be able to take on Dark Link or Zelda should something happen. He sent for Vaati who appeared before him in a matter of seconds. His eyes glowed the unnatural shade of green and his stare was empty. He nodded at the mage. The nod conveyed his message and Vaati disappeared in a black cloud. --- Vaati appeared, unnoticed, in the corner of the hallway. He watched carefully as Dark Link talked to the princess. She seemed to have more interest in her eyes than fear or even concern. He sent these images back to Ganondorf telepathically. --- The Happy Mask Salesman came to the outskirts of the Gerudo capital. The buildings around the edge were simple sandstone with dirty drapes in the windows. He walked past a few of them until he came to one that had a sign hanging from it. In the curly writing of the Gerudo, it read [i]Inn.[/i] Happy bounced the bag on his back for temporary relief and then walked up to the door. He opened the door and was immediately greeted with the smells of incense and cooking meat. He smiled. The smells of traveling. "Hello?" A woman asked in rusty Hylian. "Hello." He replied in polished Gerudo. The woman grinned. "A Hylian that speaks Gerudo. You must have years of practice. Come. I'll get you a room for free." She grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him deeper into the building. "Dinner will also be served. You look far too skinny." She laughed a lovely accented laugh. "I couldn't possibly think of a better idea." He said, genuinely pleased by the woman's hospitality.
