The hooded ninja was gone, needing to get to the job at hand. He figured his creature would stall James. He hit his earmic and said "Where are you two? Do you have the target?" He heard a voice say "We have them cornered...just need to locate them in the dark..." He nodded and said "I'll get the trap ready then..." 

Megumi moved Bane to lean against a tree, Bane panting. "Dang it...it hurts like heck...Megumi we have to keep moving..." He looked up and said "Um...Meg? Your shadows..." She looked back and saw two ninja standing there, fire in both of their hands. She got up and stood in front of Bane. "Back off...don't make me do this...please..."
