Oh, wow, I hadn't thought of that. [hider=I wonder how Fay work?] Maybe their blood is green, because they don't use hemoglobin. A simple explanation might be that tiny amounts of radium counter the iron in their bodies. Then again, I did specify cold iron as being problematic. Body-temperature iron might be fine. Possibly the tiny amounts of iron in food just isn't enough to bother them? Or maybe just "magic". [/hider]
