Short Background: Danny always wanted to travel cross-country. She had been making plans for the trip since she was in middle school. Now, finally, she had completed college and put enough money aside to realize her dreams and journey from the west coast in California to the east coast in Virginia. And so, she wasted no time in preparing her bags and filling up her tank to make the long drive across America.

Everything was going smoothly until Danny came to a small town in southern Indiana. The place didn't show up on her GPS, so she hadn't been expecting to see it on the drive. Curious, Danny decided to stay and spend the night at a cheap hotel and continue her trip in the morning. During the night, she continued to see movement in the corner of her eye as though someone was standing in the shadows, but whenever she turned to look directly at the figure, it disappeared. If it had happened only once, Danny would have written it off as her imagination, but she saw the shadow seven times.

Unnerved, Danny was eager to leave in the morning. That was when she discovered something else: All roads led back to the town. Somehow, she was trapped with no way to get out and no way to contact anyone outside of its borders.
