how did you bring that up again? i'm done with it. all i was saying was that if we do boss fights where players only have one person fighting, it'll slow things down. it has nothing to do with personal qualms.
The fight will be slowed down, if only marginally, but by separating the players so they all have something to contribute you not only add more player agency but you get to flesh the fight out. If we'd just stuck with Ganondorf and his swords, Pete, Cirno, Utsuho, Chaos, and Jack wouldn't have much to contribute other than taking potshots at Ganondorf while Bee and MAYBE Omega did the visceral stuff. That's not fun. If a whole ensemble of bosses showed up to act as lumberjacks to the main match (where the other protagonists ALSO act as lumberjacks), the players have something to do while Bee deals with the main antagonist.
get called assholes or such when interfering
This sounds pretty personal to me. Don't feel bad, Chaos did a suicidally insane thing and, as such, died as he lived. Better to die as yourself than live having betrayed your own principles.
my other character tried to interfere as well, and got the same type of verbal lashing. why does no one note that i have more than omega and the idiot that got killed? and besides that, i agree the slowing is marginal. but here's the problem. so far, there's been nothing for the others haven't had anything to do as provided in the situation. i applaud jack for going off and making his own actions with the looting to have shit to do, but it's an outside thing that doesn't advance the plot overall. i'd suggest, if we must have one and only one person fighting, then have some sort of secondary objective for the others in the boss area.
