It was her turn to try to be the voice of reason. "Calm down, if we act like this we are only going to get caught sooner. My apartment would be a bad place to go if i brought a guy home..." She hesitated but continued anyways. "My boyfriend would not be happy." And with that she started walking towards the store "We can buy you some proper clothes here and see about setting up in a hotel room, i doubt it's safe for me to go home anyways my face will be all over the hospital cameras which would draw the police back to the house." She stated, a little bit of worry creeping into her voice but it was quickly repressed as she walked through the doors of the Wal-mart. She walked calmly through the store, avoiding eye contact with everybody and waiting for Scott in the mens clothing section so he could catch up. The only thing running through her head was her own survival and trying to get out of the situation. "Perhaps i can turn him in, then i can just go home and ignore this whole problem." She thought but then another thought nagged her. "Alexis Reed! I can't believe you're thinking like that, this man needs you and he is obviously innocent and turning him in is only going to get him killed. It's your job to care for people and you've cared for this man for years, you used to talk to him while he was comatose for gods sake!" That thought quickly dismissed the other one, she did after all have a job that required her to care for people and this man needed her more than anything, so she was going to see this through.
