As expected of those measurements, he’s literally dense muscle and bone. Specialty: General Special Operative (Former Pilot) Starting Sanity: 200/200 Psychological Record: Tenacious, self-driven, and pragmatic; all traits expected and required from those who serve in his capacity. At the same time, he’s also callous and detached, as if driven solely by the mission and uncaring for those who may interfere. Questions of whether he’s human or simply a really good android aren’t too uncommon after spending a bit of time around him. TL;DR/C: Born to major Alliance trade world, lively family with successful business owner parents. Looked up to and admired the constant stream of ships that came and went from the major space station above. Enrolled in military academy to become pilot and successfully did so. Fought in the war against the secessionists for several years, and was approached by Alliance Spec Ops after demonstrating potential to become an operative. Accepted and went through the training, though resisted against mental conditioning. Partially successful, now being deployed on first mission.
Born to one of the Alliance’s major hub worlds, all Kean ever knew was the urban sprawl of an economic power. Vast towers of gleaming steel that blotted out the horizon and a space station large enough that it dwarfed the sun even during the day. (No not literally) At night it wasn’t the stars that fascinated him, but the never ceasing streaks of light left by ships that travelled to and from the station hanging in orbit. Though his homeworld was fascinating in its own right, he had longed to travel through the vastness of space, leaving behind a trail of fading light. His family was successful and lived a rather wealthy lifestyle near the top of the skyscrapers in the planet’s capital. As business owners his parents spent much of their time away from home, but the large condo was never lifeless. Numerous siblings and a grandfather kept the home lively at almost any time of the day, and as he and his siblings grew older it wasn’t uncommon for at least one to remain awake through the night. As the family grew older though, siblings and members began to walk their own paths in life. Some followed in their parents footsteps, perfectly content to work within their successful businesses or in the field, but Kean didn’t seek a pampered life. Instead he enrolled into military academy with the intent on becoming a pilot. He managed to do so just fine and found himself on one of the Alliance carriers within a year of graduating and earning his rank of 2nd Lieutenant. Unknowingly he had also caught the eyes of those above for his rather stellar performance in the academy. He participated in combat for several years during the war against secessionists in the Outer Rim. Countless hours were spent in nerve wracking dogfights through the void of space, surrounded by lancing beams of lasers and the high pitched whine of his craft’s missile-lock warning system. Surprisingly enough, for a rather fresh recruit that hadn’t seen any sort of combat before, Kean didn’t suffer any real adverse effects during the many years he participated in the war. Perhaps because of this, he was approached when the conflict seemed to be coming to an end with an offer. He accepted, unaware of exactly what it would entail, though by the time he realized it would be too late for him to rescind his acceptance. The brutal physical regime he tolerated without complaint, the physical modifications to his body; to improve him, he could endure, but the mental conditioning they put him through. Though he could understand logically why it was done, he refused and rejected it. He had joined the military to be see the vastness of the galaxy, not to become some chained hunting dog. And so he during those sessions, he took refuge in the small parts of his mind, the memories that their methods couldn’t quite reach or wash away. In the end, the result was an operative whose mental conditioning wasn’t as complete as his superiors would have liked. Chalked up to Kean’s youth as a Spec Op, his first mission would be to accompany the reconnaissance squad to Providence. The armor plating provides significant defense against small arms fire and melee weaponry. The suit is also capable of self-sealing, and has a backup supply of oxygen should the user venture into dangerous environments. [*]Wears a combat vest over the suit, mostly for additional storage capacity, though it does provide a bit of additional protection against handgun rounds. [*]Carries a Battle Rifle. Magazines carry 30 rounds each, and Kean carries about 9 (one in weapon) on his person if possible. [*]The TMP SMG is carried as a sidearm due to its rather small size. Its magazines hold up to 40 rounds, and he likes 5 if possible. [*]A Nova Knife serves as Kean’s melee weapon if it comes down to it. Capable of superheating its edge until it a layer of plasma is generated, it can carve through even heavy armor in the right hands. [*]An injection pouch that holds a number of serums designed for use with his modified and adjusted body. Contains two rapid regeneration serums that activate certain chemicals which enhance his body’s ability to heal; only serves as a first aid method to stop immediate death, two concentrated stim serums; a potent mix of adrenaline and other chemicals that kick the operative’s body and mind into overdrive in desperate situations, and a paired injection that allows the operative to drop life signs to essentially nothing and then recover from the state.
