Ok, then the traders would be known by the delta and easily the alpha or beta (which ever touches the delta). As there's no reason for those alpha nations to not trade with delta. (not like there is some invisible wall blocking the quadrants off from each other.

So, there's no reason you wouldn't know of the traders or what not. Maybe not met but its what ever.
