Ajax, in what would've been a rather uncharacteristic show for him, almost facepalmed as he crossed paths with Ganon, with himself going down and the pigman heading up. It was but a second, maybe less, not even enough time to grab the creature given the surprise. He almost facepalmed, but didn't. Instead, as soon as he landed he prepared to jump right back up. Why did he always miss the fights unless it was a bunch of no good weaklings that couldn't even begin to pose a threat if all of them massed against him, and then he always had company when it came to fights like that so it was even worse. Where had the challenge, the sport, the thrill of the fight gone? He hoped one blessed with the Triforce of Power would grant him a fight worth having. If only he could catch him. Eyeing the room he had landed on raised his hopes. Though some of it was scorched by the unrelenting heat of the flamer, that had stained the walls pitch black, and some had been crushed by Ganon's fall, Ajax was surrounded by a collection of relics and trophies and artifacts. It must've been Ganondorf's private vault, one end guarded by a large gate inscribed top to bottom with a variety of runes. All around him he could see the fruits of Ganondorf's power, the representation of the wealth and glory he had earned by strength alone. It was promising. Unconsciously, he placed his hand over his own belt, his own symbol of dominance. As the magma slowly began to seep into the room and the temperature grew to what would've been intollerable heights for most, Ajax calmly stripped himself down to his undergarments. He discarded his chiton, undid his sandals and tossed away his cestus, leaving him only with his loincloth and his belt. Only then did he leap up, not as explosively as before but with just enough power to go up the hole, then follow up with a second jump towards Ganondorf, who had also stripped his chest bare. Ajax landed in front of him, holding his belt up for all to see, its golden plate gleaming in the heat. "FOR GLORY! FOR HONOR! FIGHT ME!" he roared his challenge, his mighty lungs letting his voice be heard across the distance.
