Cassandra slipped into the room, seeing the scared looking girl, seeing Flippy's anger. "Jeez" she ran a hand through her hair in thought, "Flippy, stand back. You are scaring her. And that won't help any of us" she said, slowly approaching the girl, she crouched. 

"Hi. My name is Cassandra. Or Cassie." She looked over at Flippy and said, "he is Flippy. Kinda like that with his emotions" she added looking back to the girl and giving her a smile. "Why are you here?" She asked, with some concern. The girl wasn't hurt, was she? What had Vlad been doing with her?
