Soft footsteps echoed off the walls of the college. Myrn had been at the college since yesterday, following the trail of her savior. So far her leads have told her that her savior was heading to the college, so she guessed that he must have been a mage of some sort. But than again, she also knew that her savior was an orc, and she has never heard of orc mages. Than again most orcs aren't known to save the lives of elves either. Whoever he was, he was definitely an exception from the norm. But despite that, Myrn has had no luck of finding him so far. Even when she asked around yesterday no one has seen an orc by her description. So today, after gathering the rest of her supplies from the college, she was going to find the headmaster himself and ask him about Myrn's savior. From what she managed to figure out herself, the headmaster was an eysire named Khan. She has met a few Eysire in the past, all of them mercenaries. Fearsome with their weapons and their magic. Myrn could understand how one managed to rise to the rank of Headmaster. The fact that he was a demonmancer made her uneasy however. She's never dealt with demons before but if tales about them held any weight, demons were nothing but trouble, and their masters are not much better. At best they were fooled by the demons promises of power or forced to rely on them, but never has a deal with a demon ever ended happily. Myrn hoped that her meeting with Khan would be uneventful. Eventually Myrn was in the teacher's hall. Somewhere here was Khan's office and Myrn should be able to find Khan there. If not him, than perhaps a teacher who knows where he is at or when he'll return. The doors had their own distinctive looks about them but nothing that really tells Myrn which office was Khans. There was no name tags and if she had to guess which one was his door, she would think it was a portal to hell or a gate made from dragon bones. Unbeknownst to her however Myrn was getting closer to Khan's office and the danger within. Just as Myrn passed Khan's door she stumbled. Look down at her feet she noticed an odd vine growing from underneath the door. "What-" Before Myrn could ask her question she was attacked. The several vines wrapped around her leg and pulled her towards the door, smashing her through it. It flung her to the far side of the office where she would have crashed into a cabinet if Myrn hadn't reacted. Even as she flew through the air Myrn readied herself for the impact, landing on her feet. When the vines lashed out at her again they were cut down. "Hmph! You'll have to do better than that." In Myrn's hand was her Dar'Missan; a great elven curved blade. Despite how slender the blade was it could focus the speed and force of each swing onto a narrow point, cutting through even plate armor in the hands of a master. And in Myrn's hands, these vines were nothing. At least that's what she thought before they lashed out at her again. But Myrn didn't falter and fought back. "Kiai! Hiya! TAKE THIS!" Myrn shouted in fury as she danced around the office, cutting off the vines as they tried to get near her. But she was also trying to fight her way towards the exit as the longer she stayed in the office, the more vines that started to attack her. She knew it wouldn't be long before the entire room may as well collapse onto her, so she needed to get out before she gets overwhelmed.
