Do you abandon all hope and jump ship? - Only when there is clearly no way of the roleplay keeping it's path going
Do you dismantle the CS and build it up from the bottom? - Only when there is something wrong with it and the roleplay has restarted
Do you abandon the character and make a new one? - Never unless the roleplay has restarted or in the case of the character's importance or lack there of cause the local rocks fall and he dies scenario.
 Do you do something completely different? - Only when I have to. I hate time skipping out of important events that are in mid sequence.
