I don't feel very comfortable with NPC's, really. It'll only reduce the level of interaction between UMMA players and SE players, since people can be confident that they can always make a "safe" post depicting them blowing away faceless mooks. Plus, it looks like this mission would be better done stealthily (or, rather, as stealthily as a doctor, a wizard, and a janitor can be) rather than a full-on assault on the facility.

They are in the resident evil world. Stealth may not always work against Lickers for instance. It's safe to assume that BOW's found in there could easily go predator mode and screw over any attempts of stealth.

In which case you go loud once you're inside and away from the UMMA.

Medic may be a sadist who wants to cause trouble, but I doubt he's stupid enough to start a pitched firefight while the enemy is on high alert. Medic understands the concept of an investment for future rewards. Sneak into the facility, get what you need using your team currently comprised of mooks and non-combat specialists, and THEN go ripshit bonkers now that you've got a bioweapons facility stolen from right under the enemy's nose.
