Bella Outside the factory, Bella hurried through the entrance to the sewers. She climbed down to a long tunnel, which was thankfully empty. Bella supposed that it must just be for the water from the storm drains that were on the sides of the roads. About to take off running, she noticed a skateboard lying on the ground. That's how the kids traveled down here, she thought, grabbing the skateboard. For the first time in her life she was actually glad that her brother had insisted on her learning how to ride one. After a few turns she arrived at where the tunnel to the school should be. She left the skateboard and quickly scaled the ladder and opened up the manhole cover. It took a few minutes for her eyes to adjust to the bright afternoon light. Once she could see she saw a familiar-looking building in front of her. The gym! She quickly scurried out of the hole, replacing the cover. Thankfully she thought no one noticed her, most of the students were inside already, probably having dinner, she thought, remembering she hadn't eaten since before noon. There was no time to think about that now though. She dashed across the school grounds to get to the dormitory. Almost there, she thought once she got in. She ran down the hallway and turned the corner to the stairs when- "Whoah!" She yelped as she slammed into someone. She lost her balance and fell to the ground, sliding a few feet from her momentum. "Ow..." she groaned quietly. She hurried back onto her feet though, she couldn't let this slow her down. She looked up to see this really really tall kid towering over her. "Oh, that's okay. I'm fine," she replied to his hasty apology. "It was my fault. You're okay too right?" she asked, trying to catch her breath. "Oh no, I need to hurry before it's too late," she said when she saw the time on the clock on the wall. "I'll catch you later!" Bella called, continuing down the hallway at a fast pace.
