He's not afraid to speak his mind and welcomes whatever consequence that follows. Temujin won't be the most socially poignant man in the bar, but his charismatic aura draws people in. His boisterous demeanor suggest that he would be too proud and incapable of change, but that is furthest from the truth. He seeks to learn about all things - from different cultures and religions, to variations of fighting and hunting - all while attempting to refine his own methodology in the process. Weapons: - Heavy Rifle - Light-Metal Lance (spearhead can unlatch from the pole-arm for knife yielding purposes - like skinning hides...or resolving disputes) Abilities: Gifted with inherited traits combined with particular anatomical and physiological enhancements, Temujin is a resilient and very durable human being. While he possesses incredible strength, it is his stamina that allows him to surpass peak human endurance, especially during fight-or-flight situations. Temujin is a master in survival, hand-to-hand combat, and marksmanship. He is a terrible cook. Bio: Temujin was born on planet Kadesa as a first generation Mongol-Kadesan. As part of the terraformation registry, all settlers had to undergo gene therapy to sustain livable conditions under its harsh atmospheric pressure. The immediate change did not feel substantial until several political Kadesans were granted travel off-world. The revelation of their enhanced bodies inspired many other people to do the same, however, Kadesan's strict terra laws restricted free exit. Access was only granted per the appropriate amount of credits - which, as the public found, was a ridiculous fee that only the upper caste could afford. This immediately sparked upset across the world. People suddenly felt compelled to leave because it was perceived that they were being held against their will. Unfortunately, the stipulations of a colonist's contract on Kadesa are rarely examined thoroughly - a problem that has damaged colonization programs or years). Under Article 5ad1a of the Kadesa Colonization Act it states that all Kadesans who undergo genetic enhancements post-birth are required by law to stay on planet - unless appropriately cleared by a medical board or is granted permission by S-GAF authority. To keep a long story short, the people got really pissed off and the government wasn't having any of it. A world-wide revolution broke out to the point where an estimated 10% of S-GAF's naval fleet was needed at orbit to keep Kadesan's from planet hopping. In the end, the planet got glassed, and the survivors were left to fend for themselves. Imagine a city without a police force to regulate the people. Now magnify that to an entire planet full of angry Kadesans. Temujin survived Kadesa for 20 years before joining a band of marauders hell bent on sabotaging one of the S-GAF frigates just so he could smash it into another one. As futile as the plan was, if it were not for the incompetence of his companions, they would have succeeded. Instead, their plot was thwarted, leaving them all to scatter past the blockades and escape on their own. By the good graces of Ohkarr, the deity of luck, Temujin managed to board a trading barge undetected. Its destination? Tryliin. Compared to his birth planet, Tryliin is a paradise. While he has aspirations of some day returning to Kadesa to liberate his people and bring death to the government that enslaved them, a recent rumor about certain happenings around Tryliin has forced him to stay. Should the rumors be true, he could very well possess the power needed to achieve his ultimate goal. It was apparently exported off-world from an exotic planet. It had formed an immediate bond with the Mongol-Kadesan when he saved it from a pack of Sky Hooks. He originally intended to eat the bird, but it has proven its usefulness as a full terrain scout. By placing a small camera on its abdomen, he is able to map out the surrounding territory through the HUD feed of his helmet. Tool satchel - filled with repair kits for his rifle and lance, ammunition, herbs and substances to be used for medical, recreational, or trade. Smoke fragmentation grenades - Most of these are handmade so there is no guarantee that half of them even work.
