Kirisame Marisa, Client World 12262009-A
Marisa tilted her head as she got a look at the readouts on the goggles. This was pretty useless, really. And apparently it was pretty necessary to the girl. She needed to defend herself? Weeeell... it was pretty crappy to deprive someone of their only way to be safe. Marisa took tons of stuff but there was no way she did that kind of thing! She didn't understand all the babble that came out of the girl, but she could tell these goggles were really no use to her... normally it wasn't such a big deal, but this time she really had no idea what the hell she was going to do with these things. "Eh... whatever, come here, you can have 'em back," said Marisa, pulling the goggles off and outstretching them towards the pair.
Swordswoman - Restaurant District, Yggdrasil
"... Uh... what is he doing?" the soldiers approached Gilgamesh in confusion. By all rights, he should have pretty effortlessly beaten the hell out of all of them... and now he was surrendering. Their only real chance was to shoot him now, or else it was pretty likely the fight would get a lot, lot harder. And it wasn't like their leader would help. She thought they were all bloodthirsty idiots. And so, they trained their weapons on Gilgamesh, ready to fire. The swordswoman elegantly twirled her katana as the boosters retracted into it. No date? She pouted visibly, inclining her head to the side. That sure was a disappointment... "... Wait, are you saying that you're already devoted to your... onee-sama? Hehehe, so you're telling me you've already got a girlfriend? That's sweet~" She shifted her stance once more, readying her blade. "I already wasn't going to kill you, but this means I'm going to be extra-careful! Here I come!" The air rushed around her as she suddenly launched herself forward at Nono. She aimed for a low sweep with her blade, intending to take Nono's legs off. Again, she expected this not to matter to a robot girl aside from disabling her.
???, Research Facility
Springing back to avoid the blades, the girl holstered her pistol. Her options were limited, here... But she had to do everything she could to stop these people. Even if she failed, she could not fail before trying every option before it became clear it was either failure or death. The UMMA would not want to lose a valuable agent. Or any agent, for that matter. Reaching back, she pulled her antimaterial rifle from her back. She only had one hand to use it, and at close range, the shot was impossible. Perfect. Using what remained of her prosthetic limb, she propped the long gun up, holding it in her right. She wavered. She had to take aim. She had to make it clear what her target was. The girl pulled the trigger, and the result was a tremendous crack, a sound that reverberated through the facility like a roll of thunder. And yet, the shot totally missed. It streaked past Cinder, hurtling beyond her... It hit the wall at an odd angle, and ricocheted, careening for the floor. The angle it hit there caused it to bounce off once more, and sent it hurtling directly for Cinder's back! Even if it couldn't pierce her aura, the girl was sure it would give her some kind of opportunity!
