Exactly Ragna. The new version (Or old, should I say) would probably be a more 'focused' version, one that has to be actually targeted. So, you can't just say "Auto-target world" you would have to aim your hand at what your're shooting at. The biggest problem we're going to have with these monsters is their movement. Weapons that can hit everywhere at once, instantly defeats them, as it would never miss. That's boring, so we'll say for the sake of the RP that that type of technology is so powerful, it might end up destroying themselves due to the shear impossibility of the universe's physics.
