Karn blinked softly as Penny shouted angrily about his father, his emerald eyes watching the angry expression on the fire wizards face before soon calming down a little before going blank from emotion as she looked to the fire. The blonde boy smiled softly before he turned to look at the flames.

He wasn't sure what he was getting himself into with being in this guild, but he would never know if he doesn't give it a chance. Even just for a little bit, he wanted to spend his last moments with people who were a little like him. Wizards. And a family of them.
