This was… as you can imagine, awkward and he didn’t get much of a warning either. She stared up at Robert, her eyes begging, BEGGING, him to help her in this situation; it even got to the point that she was holding her breath. He could rat her out and say she was crazy than she’d have a lot more explaining to do… or he could play along with her and help her out. Robert, helping her out… that would be a first! As he began to speak her body relaxed as her arms stayed through his and he led her away from Edward starting a sentence about a nice place on the pier they could eat. She kept her attention straight headed as they walked before he asked if Edward was still looking. She did a gentle glance over her shoulder as if she was looking for something, only to see Edward staring daggers at them; probably questioning exactly what was going on. Her attention moved forward as they weived their way through the tables as if trying to find some place to sit… shit, now she’d actually have to spend lunch with Robert and if they didn’t keep a conversation going then Edward would get suspicious. “Yep…” She said with announce in her voice. “he’s still looking… And I don’t think he’s buying it.” Weaving towards the back of the cafeteria area she spoke softly to him. “He’s been very aggressive lately so it wouldn’t surprise me if he tries to sit close enough to keep an eye on us. I’ll just pretend to get a phone call and leave when we pick a table. Sorry for dragging you into this, I hope he doesn’t give you any guff.” Really… she could have grabbed anyone and she grabbed Robert Locksley. She did her best not to look up at him; she was going to have to deal with the black-lash from Edward and the female community who seemed not only jealous that she was Edward’s attention but jealous that she was on the arm of Robert. Hey girls, you can have both; as far as she was concerned she wasn’t interested in either one of them. The only one that interested her at this point was… well Robin Hood.
