I had to do a [b]serious[/b] amount of research into Japan for a world history class. She assigned a 40 page paper the beginning of the year and told us we had til' a week from the end of school to finish. So, I have fairly extensive knowledge from documentaries, travel agencies, biography's, autobiography's, and history books about Japan, and general cultural knowledge.

Lavul's a bit like that drill sergeant in Full Metal jacket, except he actually has a good side. When doing apps, he is as ruthless as possible, and cannot stand minor discrepencies of any sort. Yet, when you actually get to know him, he doesn't feel like much of a perfectionist. So, he scares off over half of people who try to join the RP with thoroughness.
