Joseph took a second to gauge Kenta's reaction before a light seemingly went off in his head. Right, Kenta was from Japan- he wasn't used to the usual heavy American fare. "In America, rice isn't as much of a staple food as it is in East Asian countries." he explained, a glint in his eye. "In face, rice is mostly used as a side dish here, if at all." As soon as he said that, though, another monster came by and delivered two bowls of white rice to the table. "Or... That could happen. That was fast. It's like it knew what you were looking for." he said with a grin before trying some of the steak out with rice. It was... Well, different, to put it one way or another. But hey, foreign cuisine. Why not? As he took another bite out of his steak, a third monster appeared, this time with some bowls of miso soup. Huh. Well, the game did get popular in Japan, after all. Shrugging, he took a sip of the soup. Salty. Maybe if he just mixed it with the rice...
