We're going to advance and learn more magics later right? I don't plan on him having using Dark Impulse frequently or at all at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to get some Character Development going on with this idea lol

Nahh, he's just a very feminine looking dude. I had the idea late one night, sort of like how Kamille Bidan hated his first name and was always so fussy about it. Its going to be something like that except on a grander scale. He's manly as hell just appears more girly than most.
