As the room suddenly changed into water and Chii started to fight against the drowning she stopped listening to the small man.
right after Zmerr however said "It's all an illusion." did her subconscious reached out to her Kari.
Pink spikes instantly in rapid growth extended from her in all directions, missing Zmerr just barely and damaging anything it came in contact with as the acid started a slight corrosive decay on anything that was hit.
The water illusion quickly was removed from the room, either Zmerr had turned it off realizing that Chii was unable to grasp the difference between reality and illusion or the acid spikes had stabbed into the machine that made the illusion.
anyway once the illusion was gone, the spikes retracted back into the now crying little girls body, calling for her mommy.

As Chii started to call out to her mother, Seras instantly knew where she was and what happened, it was not just motherly instant, no, Seras already knew that the little girl had some slight telepathic abilities and must have unconsciously called out to her using it.
it was no surprise as this had happened before so....

[b]Blake[/b]

As the first bullet missed, Blake quickly dropped down, keeping the little purple light girl underneath him to protect her.
most of the bullets for some reason kept going over their head, but as long as they did not move, Blake would get them, the reason, they made the mistake to piss Blake off.
The carefully grabbed his short sword from his back and it quickly began to glow in a blue light.
It took a while before it was charged enough for the spell he had planned and at that same moment it was done the shooting changed, judging by the sounds they were now in conflict with someone else, and that one better be Cat as he knew she would be able to avoid this.
Flinging his sword from a tip pointed in the earth towards the sky a massive triple blasts of crescent moon shaped waves got released and traveled very quickly towards the directions of where the bullets came from.

once it was on location, the waves would instantly cut straight though the, he counted 3 different guns so..., 3 attackers, the wave would likely continue for a few more meters before it would have lost its strength and disappeared

Blake in the mean time was still on the ground, but next to the little girl now, breathing heavy as the spell had exhausted him quite a bit as this one would have, he guessed, used up more then halve of his magic.
