lol probably could try at some point, with the chimera in this form it's pretty much harmless.

the entire thing was an illusion they had faced... a test to prove they have the determination to become one of his apprentice... and just because it was an illusion doesn't mean they couldn't die from it, what the mind believes to be real, will affect you just like if it really was. which it is hard to make your mind believe it's not real when it's infront of you.
